Default RE: idle adjustment?????????????

Idle is controlled by the ECM and isonly adjustable by the dealer. The Digital Tech will change idle speed. The idle speed should never be below 1000 rpm. A technician that knows the system well can adjust the TPS. I know the MOCO says the newTPS is non-adjustable but, voltage for correct fuel and idle should be .51vdc on all Delphi models with throttle and idle cables backed off. If not drill out press plug at lower right front corner of throttle body and adjust to correct voltage. MOCO spec is .2-1.0vdc. .51vdc is the key.
