If EITMS is causing problems while you are rolling, there is something else amiss. If you are still under warranty, you might do well to get this checked out. If you are out of warranty, you seem to have the symptoms fixed so you can hope that the underlying problem doesn't cause problems farther down the road.
not under warranty, i will just keep riding and hope the problem is solved, its been fine all weekend and this morning. when it acts up it doesnt leave me sitting just runs rough id i try to get on it to pass or fast take off from a stop
In my experience people are always pointing their finger at the OEM equipment when there is an issue, and ignoring add-on devices. In this case, my recommendation would be to disconnect the PCV and see if your issue goes away.
You mention running the autotune module. I can see from my Power Vision that when the EITMS is going, the AFR ratio, or Lambda number is off the chart because there is no fuel going to the rear cylinder. I'm not sure how the PCV/Autotune works, but if the PCV is trying to compensate for no fuel at idle, it will also scale the cells around it, resulting in an overly rich condition when accelerating.
Jamie at Fuel Moto explained the "scaling" effect when trying to eliminate a lean or rich spot in the fuel map.
Perhaps someone more knowledgeable about PCV's can chime in, but I think it does real-time adjustments, as opposed to flashing a tune like my Power Vision does.
