I JUST GOT MY tonker ORDER OF vOLANTE RAIN SUIT

I love the contruction and design and looks but its going back. I went one size up for my 35" inseem and wanted to be able to wear leather under. The pants still ride up on me while sitting (pants not long enough) and the jacket CAN NOT be worn over a jacket. Its snug right now just over a shirt.

so I need a 4x????? WTF? no way. these must run small (i hope) I will be calling them tomorrow about either an exchange for the dreaded 4xl or refund. Great price too! under 90$ and has all the top features (leg guards, venting, sturrups , reflective etc

4xL?

send it back or anyone want it for $90 free shipping?

I ride everyday in NW Florida. When the weather is in the below 40 I wear the First Gear winter rainsuit (looks like a snowmobile suit). In the summer I have the HD brand gortex rain gear. The HD gortex will keep you dry yet it is breathable so you wont overheat between rain showers. It is pricey I will tell you in 5 years or soif it is worth it. Got really tired of cheap rain suits shreading when you need them most.

I've got an H-D rainsuit and have used it alot. When I go on a roadtrip, I'm not going to stop riding because of the rain unless its either pouring so hard I can't see, or the winds are really strong (or both). My H-D suit keeps me very dry, but is a pain in the butt when I need to use the men's room (number 1 or 2!). I like the way H-D suits have reinforcement in the knees and butt.

I got the #2 Harley rain suit and it works well. I have only had to use it once, but it was the right stuff. I bought it large enough to fit over my leathers. I need to get the rain gators and some waterproof gloves and then I'll be set.....

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!!!

I've wanted rain gear for years, but didn't do it since it is an investment in something rarely worn. This June I'm riding from Minnesota to North Carolina and back, and I KNOW we won't make it all the way without getting wet. Now I know I can afford to be dry.

Here's a thought. Getting rain gear that fits over leathers sounds like a good idea. But, what if you aren't wearing leathers (warmer weather) and it starts to rain? Now, you have an over-sized rainsuit? I'm in the market for a rainsuit myself and would like to hear opinions about sizing.

When I need an opinion on gear I look at webbikeworld.com.
They are like the Consumer Reports for motorcycles except that they aren't journalists posings as scientists. They seem to be genuine motorcycle enthusiasts with a sense of humor.
These guys have been through more gear then you and all of your friends will in your life times. When they write, manufacturers respond.
They've saved me a lot of money and cost me some too. They get all the cool stuff.

Good Lord, where is the spell checker on this site?

I have the #2, packable rain suit. Had it for 5 yrs now with no problems. I've been caught in some nastydownpours. It works great. I have a size medium and it fits just fine over my leathers. If your not sure, just go down to the HD store and try it on with your leather jacket. If your going to ride in the rain, you need to get a quality suit. Don't skimp on quality because of price. The #2 suit is about $140. Money well spent. And I also bought a repair kit for the suit for $6.00, just in case.
