Hey guys, just picked up my new 2013 FLTRU and am loving the hell out of it. One question though, what the heck is this plug on the right side for? It sits right above the transmission and has a weatherproof cover. It looks like it might be a battery tender connection?
Looks like a battery tender plug to me. Different place to have it though. Usually installed by the dealer, hanging out just above the left side cover.
As stated, it is a Dealer installed battery tender plug.
They should have given you the actual battery tender too, since they installed the battery harness.
Nah. Then they can't wheel the bike into the shop, have it sit there for 1/2 hour & charge you $45 labor for the nstall.
The poster who stated that the fuse in this lead is too small for heated clothing is correct. I have the leads for the heated clothing on the bagger going out the left side & the tender lead out the right. Then the tender will sit on the foot board on the high side of the bike & blink at me all winter.
Mine came with the same plug, as did all the rides sitting on the line when I bought mine dealer sales manager said was factory install on all the Ultra series rides
