Fuel Moto Micro Tuner. $200, it takes PC-V maps which can be supplied by Fuel Moto for life.

Or - FL VIEDS. http://sales.nightrider.com/Touring_c_16.html

Simple? Find a good dyno tuner! Get the tuner he likes (TTS/Power vision? SEPRT)! Have him dyno it! Don't have to jack around with anything and ya get a great running bike!

I think a dyno is great but things change. Bike gets older. Compression lessens over time. Take a trip to denver... Air and gas much different than LA or Boston for example. Things don't stay constant. Having a PV available opens up a new realm of constantly tunable situations. Crap gas - bump back timing and your set. The advantages go on and on. Having said that, it isn't for everyone. One shot dyno and fuggetaboutit does have merits. Just does not suit my tinkering ways and ever changing situations. YMMV.

Yes.

You'll be amazed how much heat the bike loses and how much better it runs just getting the tune right. It's entirely possible you'll be happy with it otherwise stock.

when I started out I got a Ness Cheap Shot (relabeled Dobeck) and it is as simple as it gets and works as advertised.

The Cobra FI2000R-CL. Exceptionally easy to install. Lasts forever. Modest price. It will run the bike much cooler and improve grunt. No need to dyno tune. Saves $. Does a better job with AFR over a Xied.

How do I know? I have them on 07 FXSTC, 10 Superglide, 10 Ultra, 11 XL1200L, 12 Road Glide, 12 Road Glide CVO, 12 Night Rod Special and one gone and forgotten 02 VTX1800.

Years of good service without ever having an issue. Improved mpg in all applications except the Honda where it dropped.
