I mounted my new Reckless fairing today. Overall looks really good, the gel coat looks a little plasticky but that should look a lot better once I get it painted. It appears to vibrate a lot when at idol. I don't remember seeing the factory fairings vibrate this much. Due to the vibration I need to drill a hole to build a strap mount so the radio does not vibrate as much. Not much room for an amp if needed. I put a Kenwood system in with BT which works out really good. I am Looking forward to see how it is going to hold up over a long trip.
I'll try to post some additional pictures once I'm able to take them from other than my messy garage as a background.
I have the same fairing and noticed that the mounting points seemed a little thin so I added more fiberglass to areas that I thought would flex. The fairing has been on the bike 3 years now without any problems.

Yeah I plan fabricating an amp mount when I get back just no time this week and I leave on Friday. Here is an outside picture should have some good ones when I get back from Solvang.

I love the Reckless 6 X 9 fairing I have on my Road King. No problems at all after 2 years.
I attached a few pics of the amp bracket I made for my Fosgate PBR300X2. I had to do a lot of measuring and trial fitting to get my amp to fit. Maybe these pics will help you out with planning your amp install.
