was the first bike there this morning. Had them measure my solo seat and a dual tour side by side. Same exact measurements. The pillion is much wider on the tour seat.
As a side note, I showed them the 4 inch square crack in my seat pan on the left side and left with a brand new solo seat and cover free of charge. They did offer to let me test out a dual tour seat but I told them I would wait until I could take it for a 2-3 hour ride. No problem
I have been on Corbins since 97, The Customer service At the Hollister factory is Great - not so much on the mail order end - I have read lots of complaints and I really do not understand??? Like the above poster - I have been treated great - My last seat (and I still love it and have the same bike) a 2004 - I took the wife and we spent the entire day, He had to please two people (and we are not that easy to please when we spend that kind of money) The builder was great - Wife even gave him a run for his money when he started her tour pac back rest, lol
End of the day, we were both happy - even tipped the builder $20 - worth every penny.
And if you knew me - I do not tip $20 very often, lol
Note - had my latest seat build in 05 - Many trips and since 08 - 4 CA to DC and back, just rode a 4000 mile trip to Fargo, ND in July and 2000 mile highway 1 from CA up to WA
Did the corbin ride in program, very nice 2 up for my 2013 breakout with the removable backrest. I dont know if i would ever mail order one because being there in person to hand pick and compare prints and leathers is priceless.
