I have this one mounted on the rear crash bar on the left... can reach down with my left hand and grab the thermos that I use with it.
I use this one as well and it works great for me. Best part is it is a thumb screw to mount so I keep it in the saddlebag unless I need it , only takes a minute to mount to bag guards or handlebars.
Got the Kruzer Kaddy on my RoadKing. Went through a bunch of leaking travel mugs though. Damn that would **** me off. Finally found the perfect mug at Bed/Bath and Beyond. Love having me some Dunkin Dounuts on the road.
Just installed a Kruzer Kaddy on my Road Glide last night. I bought the one that mounts directly on the clutch assembly (like the one in the second picture below). With the thinner foam liner, it fits my 16 oz. Starbucks travel mug perfectly! This mug keeps my joe hot for up to 6 hours depending on weather. One of the best I've had, and I've had lot of them through T&E!!!
Here's the best one I've found. I've had it mounted on two sportsters, a softail, and my road king. Always fits correctly no matter the bike or handlebar as there's a huge amount of adjustment. I took the cupholder into wal-mart and found a correctly sized coffee cup for it, no issues. Leave with coffee in the morning, and normally as the day progresses I use the coffee cup for ice water.
Kuryakyn # 1463...best one I've found and I've had a bunch of them. Comes with mount and stainless mug. Also in the day the ring will hold a 20oz cup of ice tea or water from the local fast food places...
I also have the Butler Mug and the ring for that adapeted to the Kury mount ( the Butler is the most ugly mug in the world, but it's the best, keeps drinks cold for hours)...
