There is a spacer that goes inside the EZ shifter up to the case. I think it was 12 bucks. The EZ shift moves the shifter up and forward so my big feet can relax on the footboard, but not so far that I can reach it comfortably. What started this was I was out one day and needed the footbrake in a hurry and my size 12 boot got hung up uunder the brake. That will not happen again especially with the EZ Brake, pluys I think it looks cool. It is as sturdy as stock hardware. I removed the heel shifter BC I never used it.
Thanks for your comments. If I can justify my parts/mods with safety in mind, my wife, who is a nurse and used to push brains back into peoples heads for a living in the ER, doesn't have any trouble with the cash outlay[8D]
