Just test rode the bike after installing the SE Heavy Breather - I Like It!!! Not sure if I needed to or not, but I ran an autotune.....
I couldn't feel much performance increase over the Regular SE Stage I hi flow set up I had..... But I really like this thing!!!! It just looks cool (IMO anyway)...
After the autotune, I did really nail it in first when I was running about 20mph, and it threw me back in my seat quite a bit.... same thing when I really nailed it in 2nd running about 40mph - maybe there was a little gain there, or maybe it was in my head, not sure......
I put the rain sock on, then put the chrome cover over the filter with a rain sock on it, so I shouldn't have to mess with it when I get caught in bad weather..... we'll see.......
Yeah, that is what I have heard too..... I know a lot of guys that just leave that rain sock on over the Filter all the time..... So I figure this is pretty much the same thing....
