Dealer Experience
I don't usually brag on a dealership but I will today. As some of you know, I am a RV'er and live pretty much full time on the road. So if I have problem with Ole Whitey that I can't fix, I will find a indy before going to a HD shop.
I found that the left inner fairing brace was broken when I was checking the wiring for my gps last week. I went to Colboch Harley Davidson in Morristown, Tn to get the part. Now I was told by a fellow RV'er who had bought his bike from them that they were really great. I went to the parts counter and the parts guy got my stuff and we finished up, very friendly and helpful with looking up the correct p/n etc. I then went and talked to the service guy about getting the front wheel bearings replaced, hold on to your hats, 84.00 parts and labor out the door. Now if I figure right the labor is 42.00 an hour. Holly crap, where I live in Missouri it's 85.00 an hour. So, went and talked to Ernie, the sales mgr, real nice guy, looked up a used bike I was looking at on ebay and told me the asking price was about 1400 over what he would sell it for, then told me if I ever decided to buy a new bike, call him with the price quoted me and he would see if he could beat it. I was blown away with how friendly and eager to help this dealership is. Clearance prices weren't that great but hey, just looking for t shirts to wear not collect...LOL I would give them 4 out 5 stars....And the only reason I only gave 4 is no one rates a 5.
