I've been looking at a E Glide Classic as my next ride, and I'm curious to know if there is an alternative to Sat Radio other than the add on. I know for my truck I could have gotten a unit or just the add on the sits on my dash. I went that route so I could take it out of the truck. I think I would rather just have a unit in place of the stock radio for the bike. In part to make it harder to just unplug and run off with!!
If you're getting a newerbike the radio has an auxiliary input that you can plug in anything you want to it. If you want satellite radio go with one of the portable units and plug it into the jack and you're good to go.
I've been paying for XM for a year and a half and it seems like it's getting more and more commercials on the stations I listen to. I hate paying to hear advertisements![:'(] Plus they lost Nascar to Sirius. (Anyone with Sirius how are the commercials on it?) So I'm thinking about canceling my subscription and just sticking with my Ipod. That way I only hear music I want!
