It's going to take some getting used to but this is where the moco is going and we will follow. In a couple more years something new will add to this and than my 2012 will decrease in value
I want to send a BIG thank you to Polaris, I think that's the main reason Harley is finally doing something new and improved, and it's about time. In 1 more year my 11 King will be traded in on a 15 King. Cant wait.
Imguess we all like different things, I personally don't care for the new look, but that's me...I'm sure some will love it and buy one....and good for them if that's what they like.
I don't care for the front fairing vent, reminds me of the wife's Goldwing. Don't like the saddlebags, reminds me of the old bags on the Honda Valkurie touring model, kind of rounded on top. Don't like the tour box looks from behind.
Maybe I'm just old and set in my ways.....guess I was right, my 2013 Ultra will be my last bike....
I still fail to see the value water cooling on this bike. The power increase is minimal. Probably when you add the additional weight, it will net out with worse performance. I doubt there will be any less heat with this bike. The water cooling was for the engine, not the rider.
Also the lowers are on permanently.
Looks of course in the eye of the beholder the bike now has a metric look to it.
I'm glad I got a good deal on my 2013 Ultra Limited.
Ken
I have read a lot of different views here on like or not to the 2014s. My guess is that there will be hardcore HD guys that wont be caught dead on a liquid cooled and others (probably the young'uns) that will love it. I think the 2013 and olders will initially have much higher value for several years due to the new changes.
In fact, I will offer my 2012 SG with 3k miles for sale right now for 25K!!
