I have read a lot of different views here on like or not to the 2014s. My guess is that there will be hardcore HD guys that wont be caught dead on a liquid cooled and others (probably the young'uns) that will love it. I think the 2013 and olders will initially have much higher value for several years due to the new changes.
In fact, I will offer my 2012 SG with 3k miles for sale right now for 25K!!
disagree. only the Ultra Limited, CVO Limited and Tri-Glide have the water cooled heads. The rest are air-cooled still (for now). still plenty of choices for the traditionalist old timers.
I think the only drawback on the 2014's are there are so many crappy colors.....AGAIN
+1 on that. Although I'm glad they don't offer my colors anymore, I can still be a little bit "unique".
I'm wondering how the new fairings are going to be received. I recall being at a bike night at the HD museum last year when they just rolled out the 2013's, and many people commented on how hideous those windshields with the vents were. On the touring bikes the lower vents look to be smaller too. I'll have to check them out this week when the hoopla dies down, just before the 110th hoopla starts.
Mmmmm nope I think the value of my bike just went down I would much rather have the new Limited. Reminds me of the pre 09 frame I don't think the value of the older frame bikes went up?
I saw nothing that would cause me to trade off my 2013 RGU.
And plan to keep it until they bring the RGU back. Other wise BMW next time for me.
Long ride with HD maybe coming to an end.
That little cooling system may not do much I am not against a liquid cooled HD
