So does that mean the problem is the comps are tearing themselves apart because of too much friction. Im just trying to understood how they work and why these don't.

No. It is because they cant get enough oil to the center. It just flings out. If you read all the improvements of the 2014 one they are doing everything they can to direct oil slinging off the chain into the center of the comp hub. Lack of oil causes fretting of the spokes and that increases the distance that the spring has to compensate for and you end up with a rattle and bang just like the original comp.
