Would love to test ride a 14, but here in Jax.Fl when I was looking for a new bike in 08 the only dealer who would let you test ride a new bike was Victory, not Honda, Harley, or Yamaha without signing papers first. Will go to Daytona biketoberfest in oct. and take a test ride, Im expecting long lines to ride the new 14s.

I live in JAX and the local HD dealer here has always let me test ride a bike. They also let my wife when she bought hers. All they do is make a copy of your DL, Ins card and make sure you have a MC endorsement on your DL... oh, they also make you wear a helmet and follow you on another bike.
Now the local Honda dealer... no, they never have and that's why they will never get any of my business, not buying without riding 1st.

The dealer I bought my last bike from gave me the keys and told me to ride it and have fun. "Go show your friends" he said. I told him I lived an hour and a half away so I would just take it around the bike. He said "go have fin. Bring it back when you bring it back. no rush". No follower salesman or anything. It was the best HD experience I had ever had.
