Other than the timing chain tensioner issues which are easy to resolve if you know how to wrench and have a manual, 2002 to 2006 Ultras are great bikes. If one had the SE cam chest upgrade, i would have ZERO issues buying a well maintained Ultra in your price range and then putting a 1000 mile road trip on it tomorrow.
