I think that has been resolved now with the new batwing on the 14's w/the vent.

That's what a member of this site said anyway who took one out for a ride.
He said at 75 mph he started to experience a slight wobble and then opened up the vent on the fairing which directed the air up after it came in the fairing and that as a result of this the wobble stopped.

I went with the Batwing cause I rode 3 differnt goldies for some time and I hated the the fact that the fairing did not move with the bike(I know it makes no differnece) but when I got the 2010 limited I loved the fact the bike went with me sort of speak. I like both, but if I had to choose; batwing all the way. RIde Safe.

The more miles I put on my Shark Nose the happier I am that I went with it...

My next bike will be a RG once they return I'll be retired and have my summers free. I love my ultra but I'm planning many interstate trips and of all the things I hate the most is a head wind it pushes on the bike making steering input heavy. Not a major issue just my long term plan once the RG returns. I've rented a RG and found the steering to be light and rather liked the "room" but I'm 6ft2 with long arms so it isn't a big reach for me.

Road Glide all the way. Have had multiple bikes over last 20 years. Nothing rides like a Road Glide. I know the frame is the same as the batwing, but the RG in my opinion, handles the wind better, is not as closed in and i like the fixed fairing vs having that additional weight from the batwing fairing on the front forks.

To each his own, make mine a RoadGlide.

Traded 2 batwings in for my 13 RGU. No regrets. Best handling Harley touring bike I have ever ridden.

One RG and two RGU's . I am not going back to a Bat wing.
I hang on to my 2013 until they finish what ever they are up to.

Got a test ride scheduled for Monday. Being a short fat man has it's disadvantages, and I'm wondering if the batwing wouldn't be a better fit. I love the Roadie, but it just seems unwieldy at times, especially at slow speeds.
