Do you know exactly what went wrong?
The "ECM" without any other description sounds like a generic answer

Thats the beauty of it, they can go in and see the "stock" map has been modified, but if you remove the hardware there is NO WAY they can tell which tuner interface modified the map. That day may change, for they could leave signatures but for now they don't.

ECM is part of your bikes emission controls and should likely be covered for 5 yrs, mine was.

Yes,the ESP warranty will cover it.

One thing that was not covered is a broken heat shield.

+2 on the ThunderMax. I bought one for my '07 RoadKing years ago , it worked so well and was so versita/adaptablel with changes I now have 5 of them on my current rides. Never a single problem with any of them.

1 FLHT and '05Train,

Have you guys considered asking the parts guys to run a "dealer locator" on your ECM? Every Dealer is connected by their "Talon" system and if there is an ECM in stock at a Dealer anywhere in the country, the locator will show it. (You may just have to pay the freight to get it to your shop.)
