Ok, I get what HD are doing with the twin cool thing.
What I am wondering is how the running temp of the new Road King will compare to the older versions ?
I am seriously considering trading in my Deuce for a R. King, but wonder if the Twin Cooled tourers would be noticeable cooler for the rider, hmmmmm ?
I'm not sure I understand your question. You do know that the 2014 Road Kings are NOT Twin-Cooled engines, right? The Twin-Cooling is only available on 3 models, all with fairings and lowers (Ultra Limited, CVO LImited, Tri-Glide). The heat-related rider comfort on a 2014 RK shouldn't any different than any other 2010 or newer RK. Earlier models will not be as hot because no catalytic converters until 2010.
That's my point. I am wondering if the new air cooled motor, bigger air intake, different cam , will run as hot or cooler than the '13 .
Might be best off trying for a deal on a 13, especially if the new bike runs the same temps.
I do like the idea of the beefed up forks and new style bags though.....
