the new bike outperforms the old bike in every way
even if you don't get a twin cooled model
the new radio and feature set it offers by far is a step finally into modern technology
the new bags an latch system is miles better than before
The vent in the fairing (by all first hand accounts) works as advertised knocking down buffeting
the new forks seem to also improve the ride
I don't blame people for buying them up, some may have been on the cusp already and were willing to pull the trigger when they say the new ones and they delivered finally, instead of just being new colors
however each of them is paying a premium, all the dealers down by me are holding MSRP - no discount at all, but also, no addendum either
my question for all the bikes going out the door - of the trade ins, what where they?
Maybe some finally made the jump to the touring line, maybe most were upgrading their tourer
but half of the deals were no trade, so either people came in to buy out right, or they just are selling their trade on the private market
I have a 2011 S.G. and haven't done THAT much to it it has been flawless so far it has 13000 miles on it. Did a 2400 mile ride this last july again Flawless....so I think I'll stick with it..... NUFF SAID
