Default 2014 Models

A buddy and I rode to a Local HD dealer yesterday to see the 2014 models, I got to say I was pleasantly surprised. I really liked them. The only thing that will take some getting use to is the instrument panel on some models. The new saddle bad lid is a long time coming, one hand open, and the new look to them also. The vent in the front may take some getting use to also. over all I really like what I saw. The liquid cooled on the ultra's is yet to be decided. I'm just glad they did not stick a big *** ugly radiator on the front like the VRods. What do you guys and girls think?

Default 2014 Streeet Glide Special

I picked up my SGS Friday and absolutely love it. Lots of improvements to functionality for the rider and makes a big difference (i traded in my CVO). The instrument panel does take some time to become familiar but that too is way better then what I had on my CVO. The vent works so-so but it's hard to always tell with the 5" fairing and a half helmet. I did the open/close thing for a while and just left it open and forgot about it. Overall it's a great ride.

After all the problems we've had with the heat on the 2010's and up, now your feet are behind two radiators. That should be nice in the winter, but not sure about 100+ S. TX.

I too went to the dealer yesterday and had the chance to ride a 2014 Street Glide. Wow is all I can say. This bike rode so much better than my 2010 RK. I had an 09 Street Glide that was traded for the RK and the 2014 seemed so much more stable. The rider comfort was really great and the power was impressive. My RK has a stage 1 with a 255 cam, 2 into 1 exhaust and the stock Street Glide seemed every bit as powerful. Wish I had the money because I would have traded for that bike right after the test ride. I still owe 5 grand on the RK and they are only offering about 11,500 for a trade.

What kind of moron would design a system that vents hot air on the feet? The air is nicely vented away from the feet, legs and bike. You may not care for the liquid cooled engine, i understand that. but at least describe it honestly.
