Greeeaat...there is another project I have to do.....I hate this forum.
I think the Street Glide is the best looking Harley from the back....its that batwing fairing I just can't get use to. (Note: As an RG owner, I have always wanted to use that fairing line....lord knows how many times I have heard it !!!)
I'm thinking about that next winter. Can I use my existing rear fender or do I need one fron a RG or SG?
The Eglide Standard, Classic and Ultra have a hole underneath the fender tip light. I suppose you could have it filled and then repainted. The SG fender is the easiest because it already has the clearance holes in the side of the fender for mounting the fascia. I don't think it would be too difficult to locate the holes on the RG fender.

Can you order the parts color matched from HD?
Thanks,
RJ
I'm not sure if you can get them in colors different than what was offered on the SG. Probably should check with the dealer.
Rick,
I think you are right about colors. Lucky for me I have Vivid Black and it is available. I stopped to look at how it mounted to the SG. HD did it right with a stud plate so there are no bolt heads on the inside of the fender for those of us running a little larger rear rubber. Should be an easy install.
Thanks,
RJ
P.S. Riding weather better get here soon....I am going broke!![:@]
