While Downshifting, has this ever happened to you?

Default While Downshifting, has this ever happened to you?
Sometimes when riding the rolling mountains in PA i get lazy and downshift twice on the same clutch pull.

Yesterday a few times i did that, and was only able to get down 1 gear, nothing happened when i hit the lever a 2nd time, it moved but did not downshift into the next gear.

any thought?

...you didn't let the shift lever return far enough back??

My RK is kinda picky on downshifts. Really doesn't like those double shifts. Think it is a little out of adjustment

It's a ratchet, you have to let it return far enough to grab the next pawl. Lazy is ok, but even that can be over done............
