You asked about mods. If your back gets sore across your shoulders while riding, change out the handlebars. I went with the Heritage style bars on my 2012 RK and am very happy with the result - no more back shoulder pain!
Already figured on it. I hunch over. I am tall, with a lot of my height in my torso. Did you have to do the cables and such? I'm looking at it all thinking I might get away with swapping without doing that. If I have to do wires & cables with Heritage bars, it will wait. I'll just do 1.5" apes later if that's the case.
