Default Project Rushmore II - for next time please

Hey Harley, loved what you did there with "Rushmore".

How about a simple, discrete change that could be positive for every owner?

How about you reverse the fuel door so it opens to the front where its out of the way of me trying to put gas in this thing?

That would be cool, not complaining, just sayin.

I'd actually like to vote for the side. With the angle of the tank, and the hinge on the front, I can see that thing falling down over and over.

While you're at it, can you make it so I don't rest my raingear wrapped leg against the hot exhaust while I fill it?

I stand to the side and fill up. Never really had a problem with the fuel door being in my way.

If it was hinged in the front how would it stay open?

Plus if you remove the gas cap and set it to the inside it holds the door open. Then you don't have to worry about the nastiness on top of the gas pump or riding off and leaving it.

Well they could design it like the Ford truck's gas door, no more screw on cap. The lockable door (cover) seals to the spout so it functions as the cap as well.
