Mark the OP on HTT explains how he installs it with pics even, he said he put it in right? I suggested he contact you guys, which is what I woulda done.
Looks like the person that put that chain adjuster in did not even need to be putting gas in his bike. If you install the baker like you should there is no way it will do that. I know what caused that but not going to say i think i done said it. This is by far the best adjuster out there today period but i can see that some people dont need to put a wrench in there hand. To see stupid stuff like that person put on the great inner web and to say a product is junk really bothers me. What you see in them pics can not happen period if installed right.

I installed the Baker along with a SE comp. only have about 400 miles on it but all I can say is no more noise, banging, or vibration like before. Nice setup.

That's good to hear, I was getting kinda worried since I have one coming in the mail on Tuesday. I've got an M6 in there and although It's not a bad product, the shoe is really small by comparison.

Well I installed the Baker today and damn it's a stout piece of equipment. The metal is thick and I can see the workmanship in the product. Look how thick the metal is:

Installation was cake even with removing the sprocket. The adjustment was easy. The shoe is beefy and solid. I really don't see how the hell something this beefy can get bent?

Had mine installed today as well. I don't know if it was just me but seem to shift smoother. Extremely happy!

So why ditch the M6. I went with Baker as well but havent herd too many bad things about the M6. Now I want an outer primary cover with an inspection hole. Too bad the older style doesnt fit.

I just rode it around for a few miles just to make sure it was feeling right and I'm not as concerned with it shifting smoother than I am finally being done with excessive pressure on the IPB. I'm loading a new map and taking a long ride on Sat but after handling this product and installing it personally, I am extremely confident in it being capable of doing what it was designed to do. Even the shoe is of high quality, I don't mind paying $ for a product if its made well and this one really is.

The shoe was flaking small fragments into my primary:

It wasn't wearing badly for 1400 miles but the fragments in my oil didn't bolster confidence.

Although I was using an older shoe design, I always thought the shoe was really small and the chain travel wasn't gradual over the shoe but somewhat abrupt.

I wouldn't be too concerned about an inspection hole, the chain doesn't stretch as much as you would think. I put 25k miles on my 98 DWG and only adjusted it for stretch maybe twice.

Yea that shoe wear looked like my auto one at 125k. I think you made the right choice.

After installing the Baker, there really is no comparison in Form, Fit and function.
