Default Touch screen or not?

So I ordered a 2014 Ultra Classic and I added the security system, but not the upgraded radio/gps. Now since I'm deployed we get a pretty good deal from the factory and I'm going back and forth about adding the touch screen. I would only be adding it for the radio upgrade since I'm not a big gps user. Initially I didn't get it because I figured in 6 month s or a year I'd be able to upgrade the sound system better with aftermarket parts much better for the same money. I can add the upgrade anytime for the next month if I decide to. So, am I right about the aftermarket or should I just upgrade keeping in mind it's all about the sound, not the gps?

I can't remember--is it $795 to go to the touchscreen, if factory ordered? I think that if I was ordering one, I'd probably get it, but if I saw I bike I really liked without it, I'd probably be able to live without it. I have been trying to decide myself it it was totally necessary. Now the LED headlamps--that is a welcome addition!

Get it, hang on to it.
Make up your mind about it after a while seeing everyone else's reviews of it.
If you don't think it's something you like you can always sell it on this forum.

Ya it's $795 as an option. Thanks for all the replies.

Talked to a guy with the touchscreen. He's already figuring out how to do everything with the switches because the constant fingerprints on the screen bother him.

I never even considered that and it would drive me nuts too. Thanks.
