Who would have ever imagined that the operating system on our phone would affect our satisfaction with our new motorcycle? I think I've lived a little too long...
Ah yes,the sheer irony of it. Anyway, thank you JohnHD for a great review and do keep us posted.

Anyone try a SD card yet? Saw it as an option, use a 32gb in my car and would like that option if I go SG over RK (sorry, not up on the FH* designations yet)
I'm curious about the vent and it's affect on buffeting. Other than getting more air to the rider, did the vent make any difference in buffeting before you changed out the windshield?
Yes it did make a difference. I suspect it will help with larger shields too like the 10" or 12". I had the 10" on my old FLHX, but I'm hoping now to have a happy middle with the 7" wind splitter.
The genuine HD. On my '11 FLHX I went the DIY route with a marine antenna. I had reception but it was very limited. The genuine antenna has an amplifier in it and the reception is awesome.
To be fair, the OP lists iOS7 so not sure if that is a typo or not.
iOS7 has not been released yet to the general public, and is still in Beta.
So, some bugs are to be expected.
Now if it was a typo, and he is really using the current shipping version of iOS that is a different story.
No typo. Apple has a tendancy to 'break' compatibility with cars when they release a new iOS. I felt there are some who may be curious if Apple is going to break compatability with the harley in September. BTW. There have been times where the phone connection works fine. Its when it gives you problems that you will really hate it.
They ride better, I guess, but they are a pain in the *** to adjust. I could adjust my air shocks in about 2 minutes. These are a real chore if you pick up a passenger. From memory, I believe you have to turn it all the way back to 0, then turn it 10-18 clicks for the rider and another 18 clicks if you have a passenger. It doesn't exactly turn easy and you have to remove the saddlebag to reach it.
