Now THIS is a good constructive review. Some of the others here only list positives, no doubt from the excited new owner, but it's nice to hear what the actual observations are by somebody who's had time to evaluate the new features.
Thx for the review. My SGS in blackened cayenne is due in about a week from now. I have a little experience with past CVO shocks and just dial up or down as I see fit. Trial and error till you get a feel for them. Ride quality considerably better than short air shocks.
No typo. Apple has a tendancy to 'break' compatibility with cars when they release a new iOS. I felt there are some who may be curious if Apple is going to break compatability with the harley in September. BTW. There have been times where the phone connection works fine. Its when it gives you problems that you will really hate it.
I haven't had any issues using my iPhone 5 with iOS 7. I do mostly use my iPod classic so as to to hear text , email and calls coming in.
All that Iphone infotainment bluetooth &radio crap doesn't belong on a bike anyway. My bike is my escape. I don't Need to be "connected" all the time. I feel sad for those that do. Too much bullshit nowadays.

Quite true,It kinda takes the old fashioned fun outta the whole thing.Riding my bike is my break away from the usual doldrums..Most times I'm glad I couldn't answer some calls that came in and the all popular excuse "I was on the damn bike, how am I suppose to answer your call"..If the OL finds out what these new gadgets can do on your bike, what's your alibi now?
question to OP,
you can use just the flash drive to play music rather than going thru the phone?
I've got a droid razor M which connects fine thru bluetooth, but as far as controling media thru the bike it's not that great. won't display artist or titles, can't search for music. Just advance/back thru play list..
Also just to add to your list,
there's a "NEW" visor trim for the '14's... and still doesn't fit like it didn't on previous years.
That's another option of course which is already available on all phones..the point is,all these gadgetry is gonna cause at least a few accidents..down the road.
