Been back riding for a bit over a year now after a 30 year hiatus to raise the family and pay college etc. I rode through the cold last year with a crappy coat......but promised myself a nice one this year.
I bit the bullet on a Fox Creek Grayson.
WOW...what quality! Customer service is incredible there also! I had to return my first jacket because it was a bit tight. They had the replacement shipped before I took the first one to the PO to mail it back.
Back to the coat....heavy soft leather...heavy duty zippers....this is gonna last forever!
Next up...some heated Gerbings gloves
Love my Fox Creek (especially since I can be there inside an hour) and with the Gerbings you will be in high cotton. I have everything they make in the bike line.

i have a different one but love it too. great folks.
you might want to think about a heated liner too....i have one that really extends my season to about 35 degrees.
Quality for sure. But not comfy in the summer. You need to look also at some kind of armored mesh jacket for the summer. I know, lots of HD guys are too cool to wear much riding protection because they will never crash. But for the rest of us, it's good to have the right gear for the right season.
my one complaint about my fox creek jacket is that the sleeve liners are way too long! constantly having to pull the liner back up. i'm gong to have to get this fixed... been dealing with it for over a year.
