I have a new to me 2010 Ultra Classic LTD and it came with a SE super tuner pro but that's all. No software no cables. It has Python duals and what I think is a SE Stage one air filter. I've always felt that it is running too lean. Plugs are white not tan and decell popping is almost constant. Not to mention the POP on almost every shift.
Now my question. Need advice on whether to take it back to the dealer and have him tune it or just buy the software and cables? I know it's going to cost me a couple of hundred either way.
Can I download the software or is it even available as download? Any advice would be much appreciated.
Another thought. I'm too old to be racing so do you think just getting the stock filter would richen it up? Usually EFI engines don't require a new MAP if you just change the exhaust.
Yes you can put the stock ac back and it will help richen it up. Plug color is not a good indicator on a fi bike its not reliable like on a carbed bike.
Best thing to do imo is find a tuner that uses SE and have them dyno it. Self tuning with the SE is not that great.
