Just looking for recommendations on a replacement baffles for my screamin' eagle slip-ons. Model numbers are 80537-07 and 80536-07. They're on my 2003 EG Standard, which is basically stock.
I like that these pipes aren't extremely loud, and that they have a "lower" note to their sound, but I'd like to try changing the sound a little bit. A little bit louder and more "aggressive" wouldn't hurt. I just don't want to go so loud that I can't hear my radio.
Any suggestions on some aftermarket baffles I could try in them? I saw that Cycle Shack sells some. Any one have an opinion on them?
Figured I'd try this as a cheaper route to change the sound. I don't hate the sound so much that I want to go drop hundreds into new pipes just yet.
I have pulled out the current baffle and cut half of it off. That helped a little bit, but it wasn't a drastic change.
Don't damage your existing baffles whatever you do, trying to change exhaust note is a rabbit hole and after awhile you'll want a way to put it back where it was or your doomed....trust me on this.

I have been pretty careful so far because I was a little worried about that happening. haha. The piece of my baffle that I did cut off can easily be welded back on.
