Default 2014 Limited, Tour Pak, forward or back.

I mentioned on another thread that my Limited was delivered to me with the Tour Pak all the way back, another member questioned that, saying that technically the Tour Pak should only be moved back in order to remove the seat. When they were preparing the bike at the Dealer, they asked me if I wanted it pushed forward, or pushed back, I asked my salesman/friend, what he thought, he said back, I liked they way it looked, so we went with it. So now I'm a little concerned, anyone have an opinion on this? Is it important to have it pushed forward, or is it a personal preference?[IMG][/IMG]

The way I understand it, it's preference. Seems like I read it was part of the passenger upgrade or related to it anyway, so it could be adjusted based on your passenger's comfort.

You can put it up or back . Just a matter of how you like it. I have mine back.

on previous models, the TP was delivered to the dealer in the fprward position. they are to move to the rearward position on set up.

so you have an option.

My 2014 was delivered with the pak set all the way back. I moved mine all the way forward because my wife likes it that way. I do not need to move it back to remove the seat. There is something said in the manual about moving the pak back on certain some models to remove the seat. Maybe the international models?
