Default Question on Baffle size........
Guys, I see mufflers with all different size baffles, ranging from 1 3/4" baffles up to 2 1/2" baffles. What gives? How would I decide what baffle size I want for my Ultra Classic? Can anyone tell me why the different sizes? I would guess that back pressure changes with baffle size, but don't know how to use that. thanks, Wallacem in Ga.

Here is a "thumbnail" The smaller the baffle diameter the more restrictive and quieter the muffler will be. Generally the 2" baffle give the better performance gains with slip ons and a stock motor.
