Lately my 2012 Street Glide with 16,00km (10,000mi.) seemed to be vibrating more than normal. I'd feel this particularly thru the bars and footboards. It also didn't run as smoothly at highway speeds. This was a gradual thing that snuck up on me until I decided to investigate. I made sure that no parts of the exhaust were touching the frame. Then I remembered what fixed the same thing on my old Evo.
I looked at the rubber supports for the muffler brackets (under the bags). After loosening off the mufflers I noticed that the rubber slot was quite worn, especially on the right side. A trip to my friendly parts guy and 10 minutes installing new ones and now my SG feels normal again. I knew right away I was off to a good start when I pulled on the front brake in the driveway and the vibes transmitted back to me were cut in half.
I'm not saying this is a cure for everyone's vibration issues, but it's worth trying, that's for sure.

I did the same last year. Same results. Made my 07 Ulta feel like a brand spankin new bike. Kinda.
It's amazing how "some" little things can make a big difference.
