What are all the differences between the 2013 vs the 2014 Road Kings. I'm thinking of trading in and want to know exactly what I would be getting on a 2014 that I wouldn't get on a 2013. The 2014 will cost me about $1900 more than the 2013.
Not as much difference between the 13 and 14 for the Road King. The REST of the Touring lineup get bigger forks (which are getting very good reviews) and a hydraulic clutch. Otherwise, they should be getting the new switches, new handlebars ("Heritage Style"?), updated cams (close to 255 profile, supposedly), dual bulb headlight (not the new LED though), a new speedo/gauge, and linked brakes (only with ABS).
To me, the Road King misses out on two of the best (IMHO) advancements- Upgraded forks and hyd clutch. The linked brakes have been getting positive reviews though!
I really like the new FatBob. Pictures-blah, in person-hell yeah! If it only had cruise control (my Road King has absolutely spoiled me on cruise control- I could not live without it now). ALL throttle-by-wire bike should have this... PERIOD!

New HO 103
New duel bulb headlight
Anyone know if those new bars will fit on a '12 RK w/o lengthening cables?
I have looked at those bars from every angle and read numerous replies concerning them. Its my belief they are just the plain old $69 Heritage Style bars that Harley sells over the counter. If (and that's assuming I am correct) that's the case, then yes, they are a direct bolt on and are designed specifically to be used with ALL the stock wires, cables and switches.
No gear indicator on 13.
In my opinion its worth the $1,900 bucks for the 14, but I'm spending your money not mine.
I'm disappointed they left the hydraulic clutch off. I assume it's just until they use up the old stock at the factory.
