I use J&S for a 2010 Road King and 2010 Side Glide. The only time it felt unstable was when I changed the rear tire on the Wide Glide -- without the rear tire the entire lift was tipsy.

This my third lift over many years. I should have cried once and got it a long time ago.
Worth very penny. Ditto on the drain pan

had a homier jack which is a rebadged harbor freight i believe.. same thing.. had to use a two by four etc.. got the j and s for my birthday and it's night and day difference.. sold my homier for 20 bucks and don't miss it. the one thing i have to add is i also got the air assist. wow. wouldn't buy one unless i had to without it. tried it without air and it worked fine.. then i hooked up the compressor and hit the button. only way to go. if you can swing it get the air assist for the j and s.

if i was going to buy it myself the first time i wouldn't have gotten the air assist... man am i glad i have it though.. best present ever.

About the only maintenance on a J&S Jack is to replace the Chinese bottle jack every 2-3 years ($35.00) as well as the strips of rubber on the top of the twin cradles (that cushion the frame) every 3-4 years.

They have a new/better model bottle jack now, but if it eventually leaks, i can just change the seals.

I'll weigh in also. Had one for 3+ years after reading pages of great reviews here and on other forums. I've had metrics, my wife's Sportster (with her on it), and multiple Ultras on the jack and its rock solid. I did have to replace the jack after a couple of years as others said. Their customer service is great and shipping is lightning fast. Highly recommended!!
