love the new SGS altho finding neutral is hard if not impossible sometimes.......... pretty annoying to say the least. dick with it sometimes and I just cat get it into neutral,,,,, anyone have this issue? owned 20 bikes or more so its not a experience issue really just tricky and it shouldn't be. Thxs for the input and ride safe, paul
I just go to first then tap my heel down on the shifter. Seems easier than trying to hit neutral from second or pulling up on the toe shifter. It will get easier the more miles you put on it.. It's all still kind of stiff in there.
Go all the way to 1st and then heel to neutral. It will be a bitch for the first couple hundred miles until it breaks in. My 13 was like that. So if since its a hydraulic clutch and its still hard and i have a chain or whatever it is and its still doing then it leads me to believe its do to it being new. Just keep riding and youll see that its going to eventually fix itself.
Adjustment, type of fluid and level of fluid make the biggest improvement. After doing all that I still put it in neutral rolling to a stop.
Hope this helps.
2014 sgs has no clutch adjustment. hydraulic clutch. but changing out the primary fluid and shifting into neutral while rolling, and just putting some miles on will help.

Great info fella's, I'll check the fluid level and then swap it out if its still doing it. It is brand new (200 miles) but seems kind of weird to be that hard. live and learn and adapt I always say. paul
I'm having the same issue on my 14 FLHTK and can't WAIT for 500 miles to cross the odo to change fluids. I had the same problem with finding neutral on my 08 when I lost my mind and put Syn 3 in all 3 holes. As I ride more, it's getting easier to find neutral so I believe there is some break in going on too.
