Hi ALL,
Am I the only idiot to pay more than $26.000.00 for a new Ultra Limited? I did, but I did get an overall decent trade and good notes. I just feel like the guy with the the big DA on his forehead. I DO love the bike. It IS all they said it would be.
Ride safe my friends,
Ken
I.e. they could have taken $10k off the sticker and you think your getting an amazing deal, but dont focus on how they shorted you $10k on the trade.
Either way the stealer will get their money from you, and then again from the next guy.
In the current market (bikes brand new, newly released technology, highly desirable, etc) it is not likely a dealer is dropping the cost of the new bike. Which means if someone says they got an amazing deal on a brand new beauty.... its likely he/she lost their **** virginity on the trade.

Very well put. If today was the tomorrow you were worried about ... Then yesterday was the good 'old days!!
Don't worry about it as long as your happy.....as stated before they are going to get their money. They don't sell anything and not make money. Around here they are going for MSRP plus freight and setup as a minimum. I'm on the waiting list for a Daytona Blue FLHTK, number six overall and first for the blue. They are telling me October or November timeframe.
Thanks for all your comments Guy's. I bought my 2011 Limited last August for $21.500.00, The OTD price was just a little over $29,000.00 for the 2014 and they gave me $20,000.00 trade so I guess it was an OK deal. I know we all want to pay less but as was said, a new model, first year will cost more. I am very happy with this bike and if you are looking at these, if your pocketbook allows I say go for it. You WILL not be disappointed at all.
Ride save my friends and have a great day,
Ken
