I haven't paid attention to the arrow, but I will check mine out and see what it's doing today. I have been pretty happy with the GPS so far, although I would like to figure out how to pause it or cancel a route while you are riding. There have been several times where I used it to get me home and once I was familiar with where I was I wanted to shut it off but it kept giving me diriection all the way to my drive way. How do you pause or cancel a route while riding?
Don't have it in front of me right now, but there is a "STOP" command that's readily available in a menu. When I get home (assuming I've got my bike back from it's 1000-mile servicing - took me one week to accumulate those miles) I'll run through it and post the process.
I purchased the 2014 FLHXS and the GPS has a 3D mode. The display is heading up VS North up. When in this mode there is an orange indicator that is supposed to point north. It does point north if the bike is pointed north or south. If I'm headed east or west the north indicator points south. Anyone else notice this? I do have the latest (1.17.1.1) software on the 6.5 radio. I've attached a picture of what I'm talking about. In the picture, my bike is pointed West.
I noticed the same thing. Have we found a fix for this yet? Someone said it is in the settings area but I couldnt find anything. The arrow should point north always regardless if you are in 2D or 3D mode. (I use 3D)
