Default slow tip over

I have a 2003 anniversary FLHTCUI ultra classic. We rode to supper tonight and just as we pulled up to the parking space my foot slipped and it tipped over. No Damage as we were sitting still. The bike was running when it did it. I don't remember but apparently it shut off by itself? Anyway we set it up and parked. It spilled a little gas out but nothing major. We leave after supper and go about 5 miles running 60 and it just quits. Sitting there I switch the ignition on a couple times and try it and it starts. We come on home. Does tipping it over do something to the fuel pump or having it on it's side for awhile caused something to stop fuel flow? Maybe a safety thing? I'm a newbee this year and due to family problems havn't had many miles on it yet. Any ideas? I intend to get it out tomorrow and run it some more. Thanks

Bank Angle Sensor...

Shut down when bike is beyond a specific angle.

and it had enough gas to get us that far? Which just like if you had a manual shutoff on the tank and forgot to turn it on is what it acted like, Thanks

Should have reset with a turn of the switch. Doesn't make sense.

I seen this happen on a 2010 Dyna this year, and he had to let it sit for 5 minutes, some sort of safety program in the bike? Maybe it was longer???

When I tipped mine over the odometer read "Tilt". Had to cycle the ignition switch a couple times to get it to reset.

Bank angle sensor for fall but can you describe the "just quit".
Reason: at 5 miles the tip over is done, over and should no longer be related directly.
BUT, if you had some debris in the tank it could have moved into a position to block fuel flow.
Alternatively if the fuel line inside the tank had a pin hole it could have positioned it just right with the slight tip over for there to be a greater loss of pressure since you did have a loss of fuel. *fuel line pin hole above fuel level in tank.
May wish to consider opening of plate on top of tank for inspection of tank if it repeats or if you are taking a trip.

NOT related to your current experience but a friend of a friend had starting problems on the same year and model during a trip. One of the three cables at starter was loose.

be glad you had all those bars to keep it off the paint. If it ran alright after the restart, ride it like you stole it and dont think about it again until the next time it falls over

It might have screwed up the computer when it was reset. Did you turn it off before lifting it? You might try and reset the computer by turning it on and letting it all stabilize then turn the master of and on in a deliberate slow cadence five times. That should reset the idles and everything.
