Why are there so many
Some of the new features I like, some I don't. I really like the latches on the saddlebags and tour pac. I would have liked to have seen the upgraded radio in all models and not just select. I liked having a CD player, but not a deal breaker.
Jury is out on the cooling. Only cools 25 degrees from what I've heard, and there are already numerous posts about loss of coolant. If it proves itself, it will be a plus, if not it will be a pain.
The Mini Cooper bug scoop is definitely a buzz kill. If people don't like wind in their face, they might consider a cage. Even a Mustang convertible has buffeting with the top down. That's part of the point of riding.

So with that preconceived attitude its easy to look at the partial water cooling system( for an example,) as yet another stop gap measure introduced in order to buy time until the "real" water cooled motor is introduced on the 2015 Road Glide. (Maybe I'm wrong but it wouldn't surprise me...
)Motorcycle.com tested the new bike, and said the water cooling didn't do much. Techies are complaining that the new "Infotainment" system is already old hat and should have been better. But Moco shovels and we swallow.
So its an attitude a long time coming for me. ( I won't diss a new bike purchaser either btw.) And Hell, I hope I'm wrong.

I have my opinion about the new bikes, won't restate them, but those are MY opinion...not yours..
Buy a new bike. If that's what you want, who am I to tell you not to, but i also have that choice, buy or not.
Some things I like, some I don't...and that's with just about any new vehicle...
