EDIT: Isn't there a limp mode that kicks in under certain conditions. I apologize for not knowing more what causes the limp mode, others here will.
EDIT, just did a search on this forum and the conditions you describe are what others had in the limp mode. Tied to the ECM, solution was disconnect the ECM, clean connections and use dialectic grease, sparingly, on the connections. Another suggestion was the TBW connections. Also as was said, check, clean, and re-tighten battery, using small amount of dialectic grease.
Could be a bad HFSM. A short in left handle bar switch housing. Or a short to ground somewhere on the black/red wire in the main wiring harness between connectors 30B and 24B. That's the wire that goes from your left switch housing to your HFSM.
Ignore my first post.
The book says B1154 and B1155 is set when either the clutch switch circuit or neutral circuit is shorted to ground at speeds greater than 10mph for more than 60 seconds. B1155 refers to the neutral circuit. see diag. So it could be a bad neutral switch, something shorted in the left bar switch housing, a problem somewhere in the wiring.
