My ride is a 2006 FLHTCUSE with the 103 cu inch engine. On a recent road trip I noticed that the (LED) run brake/light were on continuously. No indication as to what caused the problem.
I do have trailer and an LED load equalizer module, but with all that removed from the electrical circuitry, the problem still exists.
Any suggestions on what to check or to look for would be greatly appreciated.
First thing I would check is the brake light switch for your front brake lever to confirm it is releasing. Same for the rear brake switch. They can get sticky.
If your cruise control doesn't work and your brake lights are constantly on you probably have a broken brake switch in the brake lever housing. Easy thing to break.
