Default Saved location on 2014 GPS?

Has anyone figured out how to save a location in the GPS on the 2014? Have upgraded the radio (with help from this forum) that did not help. Putting an address and hitting save when it is calculating does not work. The location will go to addresses but once bike is powered off it is gone.

I travel a lot so I've always had GPS on my bikes and trucks. Bought the '14 SGS cause it's built in and had the same problem your having. What I found is to go into maps, click on "where to" select "address" enter your address, let it calculate. Now go into recents and selt the address you entered. Now you can select save and it prompts you for name and saves it to the internal address book. A cheesy workaround but it works. I was told, but think it's BS, that most riders want a quick address input and don't want to save it. BS if you're going to spend the time to enter an address then the entry should be able to be saved if wanted. That entry does provide a save selection but the "bug" doesn't put it into the address book. Only doing it from the "Recents" will save it properly.

Big Lou thank you for the help. That worked but it does not show the name only the address does it show the name when you arrive at the location?
They have to come out with something easier to save locations have many on my other GPS that I don't use all the time but would hate to have to put them in each time.
