Default Brukus bag question

So i bought the brukus bolts to secure my saddlebags. My question i dont want to run both sets of bolts, for ease of cleaning and maintence i wanted to run just one brukus bolt on the rear bag and on the front keep the quick disconnect. Any issues doing that, started worrying that maybe the bolt tighten down in the back will cause the front harley quick disconnect to not be fully secure. Anyone else running this. I figure if i lose the harley bolt or the quick disconnect it should still stay put

I've been running my 2012 Limited that way since I bought it.... Stock pin in front & brukus bolt in rear, on both bags....

I am convinced, most problems with the OEM pins are people not latching them properly. I got the Brukus hardware for security reasons.

I'm at 12K miles, including a cross country trip. I frequently remove the bags for cleaning and have never found either the OEM or Brukus hardware loose....

I run both bolts. Doesn't take that long to spin them off...

I wash my bike thoroughly twice a month, and taking the bags off with the brukus hardware sucks compared to the factory hardware. I may do one and one instead.

Seriously guys. It's not a hard thing to spin off 2 bolts on a side. Betcha ya don't stop at one beer cuz the second one takes additional effort. I can be pretty lazy but you guys are beating me by a long shot :-)

Okay thanks guys, will do. I wanted to run just one for a few reasons, First i bought them just for the security, i have never had a problem with OEM Pins.

1. I put just one, so it is easier to take off when need be.
2. They are expensive, so when the one set wears out, or i strip it as common for me, i have spares!!!!

I should have ordered one before my big trip this week for my detachable tour pack, really worried someone is going to try and walk off with it at street vibrations in reno this month.

Also i watched a guy lose his one of his saddlebags riding and he had the brukus hardware, granted it was his fault they were not on right, but i figure running two different hardwares is piece of mind. Kinda dumb i know but in my head makes sense.

I've been using the stock pin on the front and the Bruckus on the rear. I mainly do this for convenience, especially on the left bag since adjust the suspension air pressure frequently (going from solo to two-up and back). I remove my bags a lot for that and for cleaning. I also figure that I have spares if/when the special security head strips out from all the use it gets.

No problems so far with either the stock pin or the Bruckus bolts coming loose. It might not be quite as secure (anti-theft-wise) as using Brukus bolts on all four points, but I think it's enough to keep the bag from being removed from the bike without any significant effort (and subsequent damage, unfortunately). Granted, my insurance would cover the theft of/damage to the bags, but I feel better knowing that someone can't just come along and with the flip of a screwdriver pop the bags off and steal them. If they want them, they'll need to work for them.
