Bought a 2014 FLHXS
I traded my FXDSE2 for what I thought was a very fair price and also through in my hypermotard. All in all, when the bike arrives in two weeks I'll get the bike and a few bucks in cash.
I really liked the FXD but I really want bags again. I ride to work when possible and do all my errands on the bike. I also wanted a fairing, sound and GPS for long rides.
My hyper isn't getting much love so I figured I'd put it in the deal (decent price there too) plus I'm getting to old for that crazy thing.
I've always wanted a Street Glide and never pulled the trigger. When I evaluate my riding style and needs it really is a great fit.
Now I just have to pick out an exhaust or maybe aerocharger?
. Probably just going to keep it simple.
BTW, I know there's a lot of questions about how much everyone is paying for the bikes. I paid MSRP with no freight or prep. My guess is they made a good 4500-5000 bucks on me and will either make a few in my trade ins or whole sale them off. I'm guessing they keep the FXDSE2 and ditch the duc.

Congrats. Mine is supposed to be here around the 9th of October. I got amber whiskey. What color did you get? I had to pay msrp. Did you get any discount? I called 3 places and got msrp everywhere.

According to his sheet it's black denim. After a screaming eagle bike I'm not up for washing.
I'm really ok with all the colors, really like the amber whiskey and the sunglo color.
It should arrive 10-2.

Congrats! Picked mine up on Monday. Went from a Wide Glide and this thing is a different world!! I am in heaven!!

Unfortunately no discount but they didn't charge freight/prep so I guess that's a bit if a discount.
