Read the manual. There is a section on autotuning for pinging. It is on pg. 9 of the
AutoTune with the Power Vision User Guide.
If that doesn't work we can go into some logging and timing that will get rid of it, but try that first.

What range is the ping occurring? If it is the 2750 to 3500 area in cruise you can reduce the timing here by 6 to 8 degrees. No more than 38 degrees. It currently will have 44 or 45 degrees. If you are in cruise it will be in the 30 to 60 KPa load area. If under load like accelerating it will be 60 to 100 kpa area. Just pay attention to the rpms it is happening and conditions. If reducing to 36 degrees doesn't stop it then the VE tables need enriching in this area by 5% to start with. Enriching the VE tables seems to do more than reducing timing to stop pinging. It won't hurt performance as bad either, may even improve. I have not had much luck using Auto tune basic to reduce pinging. The Autotune Pro will adjust timing and may do some good with pinging. You can run the log tune and find the area if you have Excel on computer.

The VE tables are under the airflow section of the map. increasing the value richens the mix. Another thing that you can do is log your ride and then look at the log to see exactly where the pinging is taking place. If you go to the Tech Forum there is a section called: Electrical/Ignition/Tuner/ECM/Fuel Injection that has a thread on the Power Vision. Now this thread is over 500 pages long and years old, but pinging has probably been covered several times in it. I would look at the last 100 pages to see what there is on it. I know how I do it, but I can't tell you that what I am doing is correct.

if you are going to make adjustments yourself, need to go to the Dynajet website and view the videos on how to make adjustments to the PV. You can remove the timing in this area plus other areas by using the quick tune. The manuals and guides are on DJ website also. The Quick tune is very easy to use. If you want you can learn how to load tunes into the PV and flash them to the ECM. I will be glad to send you a map that will work better for you. I need to know what bike and what mods you have done to the engine and exhaust.

If it's only pinging when you jump on the throttle, start by adding a little fuel to the accel enrichment. If that doesn't do it, you'll need to log a run to see exactly where the detonation is occurring, and how much timing is being pulled.

DFW the VE tables, and don't start yanking 6-8 degrees of timing.
