Picked up my new 2013 UC from Overseas Military Sales and Patriot HD back in early June. Just over 3k miles on it now. My first Harley. Obviously I love it! I came from a 2003 Honda Shadow VLX.
I first rented an Ultra back in 2010, on a ride w/ my father. I was visiting him in FL and he suggested I rent one so that we could ride together, he on a Shadow VLX. The only bike remaining at Treasure Coast Harley for rental was an UC. I was scared and intimidated over it's size, but went through it anyway - time to man up. I was in control immediately, comfortable within 5 min, and seduced in 10 min. What a great decision, my dad would succumb to liver disease and complications from a liver transplant shortly thereafter. Now whenever I ride this thing, I'm reminded of that experience, and the fragileness of life.
I've done some small mods here there, and have added V&H Monster Squared slip ons. I like the sound, and eventually will add true duals, PC V, and the Drak air cleaner.
This forum has been a wealth of information, I look forward to sharing more pix and experiences, and gaining new insight from all.!

Ride safe!
